Resolutions

Standing resolutions: Fees and permit charges

Most resolutions approve one thing once. These set a continuing rule — a fee or charge, a rate, a pay plan, the depositories and investment policy, a council rule — that lasts until a later resolution (or an ordinance) replaces it. Each shows what it sets as printed, when it took effect and whether a later one replaced it.

Unofficial register compiled from the resolutions and minutes in this archive. A resolution the archive does not hold may have changed a figure since; "current" means the latest one on the subject in the archive. The City of Tiffin's records govern.

How it is built: every resolution's own heading (read from its signed copy; the minutes' title where there is no copy) is matched to a subject; a resolution that reads as setting a fee or policy but matches no subject waits for a person. On a subject, each resolution is taken to replace the one before it ("inferred") unless the later one names the one it repeals or amends. Amounts are read from the resolving clauses and attached schedules, never from the "whereas" clauses (those state the old figures). JSON · built 2026-10-17
