Councilman Morgan then moved that the rule or law requiring three readings of this ordinance on three different dates be dispensed with. Council consensus to set due date for pet licenses as June 1 of each year. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1979-80 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR LICENSING AND VACCINATION OF ANIMALS was introduced by Cox. A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR THE LICENSING OF ANIMALS was introduced by Councilman Stevens and seconded by Councilman Cox. Roll call vote: Cox, aye; Morgan, aye; Runge, aye; Spivey, aye; Stevens, aye. Mayor Potter declared that Resolution No. 1985-5 duly passed and adopted. Annual license fee is $2.00 per animal. Delinquent license fee is $10.00 per animal. Fee for replacement of lost animal tag is $1.00 per animal. Motion Stevens second Runge to approve request by Tom Morgan for renewal of Class "C" beer permit for Morgan's Standard effective May 15, 1985.
