Compiled from published City of Tiffin documents (agendas, minutes, resolutions, memos, pay applications and payables lists); not official accounting or an official project record. Every event links to the page it was read from. Amounts marked "as printed" are the city's own figures; totals from the payables lists are a lower bound where a list did not reconcile or where the lists in the archive do not reach back (they begin in 2021).

Reconstruction of US Highway 6 through Tiffin (pavement, sidewalk/trail, box culvert, with city water main, storm sewer and a signal), designed by MSA for the city with the Iowa DOT. The 2026 DOT preconstruction agreement puts the city's estimated share at $3,920,988.98; construction is staged for 2027-28.

Status: design and right-of-way acquisition; the staging plan (June 2026) puts construction in 2027-28
