Tiffin City Council March 14, 2001 A regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council was brought to order by Mayor Glenn R. Potter, 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at the Tiffin Fire Station. Council present: Jim Bartels, Rodney Walls, Karin Dils, and Mike Ryan. Absent: Mike Gericke. Also present: Attorney Greenleaf and Engineer Mike Hart. Motion Ryan, second Walls to approve printed agenda and minutes. Ayes: Walls, Ryan, Dils and Bartels. Motion carried. Motion Bartels, second Walls to close the regular session of the Tiffin City Council meeting for the purpose of conducting Public Hearings. Ayes: Walls, Ryan, Bartels, and Dils. Motion carried. Public Hearing to approve Zoning Map Amendments to include Rolling Hills, Tiffin Edge and Sadler Lot 2 from R-1 to R-3 zone. There were no citizens present to speak either in favor of or against said Zoning Map changes. No citizens spoke. No written comments were received regarding zoning map amendments. Public Hearing regarding church signs to be allowed in all zones. Not citizens spoke either in favor of or against said proposal. No written comments were received proposal to allow church signs in any zone where a church is located within City of Tiffin. Public Hearing regarding revision of city maps. City of Tiffin and Planning and Zoning for the City of Tiffin have considered revised Tiffin Land Use and Growth Area Map and have considered a proposed revised Fringe Area Agreement with Johnson County. There were no citizens present to speak either in favor of or against said proposals for revision to city maps. There were no written comments received by the city. Public Hearing regarding revision of right-of-way and setback requirements for any arterial or planned arterial transportation street within the City of Tiffin. No citizens were present to speak either in favor of or against said proposals. No written comments were received by the city.
