City Attorney Greenleaf has drafted a library ordinance, and this will be placed on the upcoming agenda. Mayor Potter asked the clerk to keep Coralville apprised of the situation with Tiffin library plans, as this loss of tax dollars would have an effect on the Coralville city budget. The attorney will also draw up a 28-E agreement that could start cooperative efforts with the Clear Creek Amana School District for consideration at the January meeting. The City of Tiffin SRF application form has been submitted to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Funding is a major problem with no easy solution. Hart explained that growth may help with funding costs for a project of this size. Rick Brown, IDOT has placed Tiffin on the waiting list for consideration of upgrade for placement of rail crossing arms and upgrade of flashers.
