It was moved by Dils and seconded by Bartels to close the public hearing and reconvene the regular session of the Tiffin City Council at 6:36 p.m. Ayes: Gericke, Bartels, Dils and Ryan. Absent: Walls. Motion carried. Motion Bartels, second Ryan to approve a RESOLUTION # 2000-23, A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE TIFFIN URBAN RENEWAL AREA. Ayes: Ryan, Gericke, Dils and Bartels. Absent: Walls. Motion carried. Passed and approved December 13, 2000 and signed by Mayor Glenn R. Potter. Motion Bartels, second Ryan to close the regular session of the Tiffin City Council for the purpose of conducting a Public Hearing on a proposed Standard Design Standards and incorporating the revised standards into the land use control and subdivision improvement regulation of the City of Tiffin. Amendment and revision to include increase in the size requirements of water and sewer mains and other revisions as advised by review by the city engineer. The Mayor presided and the roll being called the following members of the Council were present. Dils, Gericke, Bartels and Ryan. Absent: Walls. No written objections, statement or evidence heretofore filed were reported to the Council and there were no oral objections, statements or other exhibits presented during the public hearing. The Planning and Zoning has reviewed and made recommendation of approval of the proposed revisions to the Standard Design Standards as approved by Subdivision ordinance. Motion Dils, second Bartels to approve a RESOLUTION # 2000-24, A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE REVISED TIFFIN, IOWA DESIGN STANDARDS AND INVOCORPORATING THE REVISED STANDARDS INTO THE LAND USE CONTROL AND SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY. Ayes: Gericke, Bartels, Ryan and Dils. Nays: None. Absent: Walls. Motion carried. Passed by the Council on the 13th day of December, 2000 and approved by the Mayor on the 13th day of December, 2000. On the 13th day of December, 2000 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Bartels introduced Ordinance No. 2000-240, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE 1998-218, TO DEFINE THE DEVELOPER'S RESPONSIBILITY OF COST IN THE INSTALLATION OF WATER AND SEWER MAIN AND TO DEFINE WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE PARK AND OPEN SPACE, REVISING & PROVIDING FOR APPROVED DESIGN STANDARDS UNDER THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Gericke. Ayes: Bartels, Dils, Gericke, and Ryan. Nays: None. Absent: Walls. Motion carried.
