Motion Bartels, second Dills to approve a RESOLUTION #2001-7, ACCEPTING VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION PAPERS FROM LEONARD. Ayes: Dils, Bartels, Gericke and Walls. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Dils, second Gericke to name CPA Ann M. Menke to complete city audit as required under SRF Loan cost to range from $3,500 to $5,000. Ayes: Dils, Gericke, Bartels, and Walls. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. City council asked if George Klein could complete appraisal for the city. Engineer Hart did not think that Klein could. Motion Gericke, second Walls to approve Bob Crane for appraisal work needed for completion of REAP grant requirements if Mr. Klein is unavailable. Ayes: Bartels, Walls, Gericke and Dils. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. Attorney Greenleaf is working on sewer line easements. Motion Bartels, second Walls to approve a RESOLUTION #2001-8, A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE MAYOR'S AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE THE APPLICATION FOR ANNEXATION as relates to right-of-way acquisitions in annexation action UA 01-02. Ayes: Walls, Dils, Bartels, and Gericke. Nays: None. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. On the 14th day of February 2001, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan moved that ORDINANCE NO. 2001-242, AN ORDINANCE ZONING TIFFIN EDGE, be given its second reading. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Bartels. Ayes: Dils, Walls, Gericke and Bartels. Absent: Ryan. Nays: None. Motion carried Four members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and ORDINANCE NO. 2001-242, AN ORDINANCE ZONING TIFFIN EDGE, was then placed on its last reading and was read the second time and discussed and placed on record. City Engineer continues preliminary work on water improvements. Motion Gericke, second Dills to approve clerk and treasurer's reports. Ayes: Gericke, Walls, Dils and Bartels. Absent: Ryan.
