Motion Potter to approve contract with Water Tower Paint and Repair Company of Clear Lake, Iowa in the amount of $10,481.00 (which is $300.00 less than contract reads) to sandblast interior and paint with white epoxy to at least ten mils, sandblast exterior, prime and paint with aluminum paint one coat. It was my understanding from Mr. Bonin last night that the contract for $10,781.00 would be reduced by the $300.00 amount for inspection if we went with your company and we would not be charged for the inspection. Then we're right back to nobody coming to look at it. Potter: Probably have more than $300.00 invested in it now. Madden: Who did Brown contact in April? Potter: Gave Brown name of three companies from engineer. We all hate to spend the money but it's not like we're putting another tax burden on town. Water and sewer rates are competitive with other towns in county and we ought to go ahead with it. Anderson: Guarantee it 100% for one year. Automatic inspection at end of one year. Will drain t
