Morgan: What about the future?
Hart: You might get enough revenue off of them to make any improvements you need. If you run into problems they'll have to use their own system as a back-up. You only sell them what runs through their meter. You're not liable if you don't have it available.
Attorney: That's all subject to negotiations. If they tap into your supply, obviously they'll want a long-term commitment. On the other hand, that doesn't necessarily mean forever. We can negotiate with them.
Stoner: Is there anyway to figure out how much water is available?
Hart: Yes, by the draw-down gauges in the plant.
Stoner: Like adding another trailer court?
Clerk: Two different figures thrown out at that meeting. Will have to go back and look at notes.
Hart: Would be about 60 minutes additional pumping time per day.
Stoner: Could be good revenue.
Hart: Could limit amount of use so we don't go over our discharge permit.
Mayor: Should put meter on this side of tracks so anything on that side is their water.
Council instructed Hart to contact IDOT about proposed water sale.
Herring said two streets did not get coated this year; Third Street extension to the school and Roberts Ferry Rd. Clerk said there $13,000.00 in budget for streets this fiscal year.
