Stoner: Your manager said there were 69 structures and five are duplexes. He gave me a count of 74 living units. Scheetz: That's is totally incorrect. We have 49 with 5 being duplexes. Clerk: I verified the figure with Mrs. Scheetz before completing the application. Bartets: We need to do what's right. I'm up in the air. Morgan: It's unclear. Scheetz: You should pass it. I also want a dike on the south side of the railroad tracks. Slaymaker: The town flood and the water went up over the tracks. Scheetz: It wasn't the tube. The water was higher in the town and didn't have anyplace to go. Only one tube was open. Stoner: Is there a time limit? Greenleaf: I don't now. Stoner: It has to be passed before funding will begin. Slaymaker: The time limit for applying for funds is thirty (30) days. Morgan: I have to ask the attorney for advice. I'm looking for his input. We need to look out for everyone. Don't know what's right or wrong here. Greenleaf: I was concerned that the ordinance could cause Scheetz to close the court if he could not meet the requirements. This does not seem to be a concern now. If the city does not adopt the ordinance, the people will not get funds. The problem was no win if it meant shutting down or not getting aid. It would look like adopting the ordinance is a good idea. Scheetz: The people need the helo there. Whether it hurts me, I'll work it out later. Greenleaf: In the long run, it sets high standards and it's good for the whole city to avoid future problems. Morgan: I know what Scheetz has told us. Do we need to have Mike check anything? Greenleaf: No. I don't think so. Scheetz ought to know. If he doesn't, as he said, it's his headache. I don't see the problems that I thought there might be before the meeting. Brown: If these trailers are grandfathered in and they are damaged more than 50% in another flood, could they come back on us?
