Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Tim Kasparek called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, Skylar Limkemann, Al Havens via Microsoft Teams, Chris Olney, Tim Orris via Microsoft Teams. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and Deputy City Clerk Brianna Wilkerson. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Schnedler. Second by Olney. All ayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion and Review of Updated Potential future Recreation/Wellness Center – Site Layout Discussion: The elevation issues have been worked through which solidified proceeding with further design of the facility on the current site of the soccer fields. Council agreed on the south orientation and moving the building to the west to create more space. There is a follow up meeting with Atura on Thursday. D. Discussion and Review of Updated Grove Park Alternative Concept Discussion: Council gave the developer verbal approval to move forward with his concept. They asked for him to start at the back of the development and work towards Highway 6, leaving buildings ‘B’ to be built last. This would allow for possible commercial units to be built there. E. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda or Reports F. Other Business G. Adjournment Motion to adjourn by Limkemann. Second by Schnedler.
