Miron - Project Update - Tiffin Recreation Center

Executive Summary Overview July and August did not see much action other than dirt settling. We did get good news that the surcharge is complete and has been removed. Topsoil has been spread out across the soccer fields awaiting seeding in the coming week. Bid Package #2 was bid out and all contractors have been established for the entirety of the project. Coming up in September there will be more action on site as aggregate piers will begin and foundation work will be starting in the last week of September. Major Milestones / Accomplishments • Bid Package 2 was bid on 8/5 • Surcharge is complete and removed Upcoming Milestones • Start of aggregate piers and foundations Key Issues and Concerns • Applying for utility applications to begin coordinating with utility companies ‒ Electrical (Linn County REC), coordination has begun and building transformer is at their lot ‒ Gas (MidAmercian Energy), application is being reviewed and awaiting next steps • Coordination between bid package 1 contractors and bid package 2 contractors Be authentic, lead with humility, and recognize the needs of others.
