MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is entered into and made this 8th day of November 2000, between the City of Tiffin, Iowa, an Iowa municipality, hereinafter referred to as "TIFFIN", and Gregory M. Schott, individually, hereinafter referred to as SCHOTT. WHEREAS, TIFFIN owns rental property located at 251 Marengo Road, Tiffin, Iowa, hereinafter referred to as MARENGO HOUSE; and WHEREAS, TIFFIN desires to engage SCHOTT as manager of MARENGO HOUSE; IT IS HEREBY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES AS FOLLOWS: 1. SCHOTT will handle the rental of MARENGO HOUSE, including but not limited to: advertising; showing to potential renters, obtaining and checking renters' references; signing lease agreements with renters, and collection of security deposits and first month's rent from renters. 2. SCHOTT'S management responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: A. Engaging any services for repairs and do whatever is necessary to put and keep MARENGO HOUSE in a fit and habitable condition. B. Establishing and distributing rules concerning the Renters use of MARENGO HOUSE. C. Delivering 3-day Notices for nonpayment of rent to renters and if renters fail to respond to the notice, SCHOTT shall contact TIFFIN City Attorney Stephen N. Greenleaf, to initiate procedures for eviction and collection of rent
