WITHIN COMMERCIAL ZONING be placed on its last reading. Ayes: Gericke, Walls, Kern and Bartels, Absent: Ryan. Nays: None. Motion carried. Four members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 1999-229, was then placed on its last reading and was read the last time. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Bartels, and seconded by Councilperson Gericke that Ordinance No. 1999-229, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND ALLOWING APARTMENTS WITHIN COMMERCIAL ZONING, be placed upon its final passage and adopted. Ayes: Gericke, Walls, Bartels, and Kern. Absent: Ryan. Nays: None. Motion carried. Four members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and the ordinance was passed and adopted. Whereupon Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared that Ordinance No. 1999-229 be adopted and signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto. Passed by the council on the 10th day of March, 1999 and approved by Mayor Potter on the 10th day of March, 1999. Motion Kern, second Walls to approve a RESOLUTION # 1999-17, RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT TO CORALVILLE IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS EASEMENT EFFORTS. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, Gericke and Bartels. Absent: Ryan. Nays: None. Motion carried. Motion Gericke, second Bartels to authorize Mayor Potter to sign the Tiffin Capital Improvements Plan as completed by MSMC. Public Hearing date is set for the next regular meeting of April 14, 1999, 6:30 p.m. at the Tiffin Fire Station. Ayes: Bartels, Kern, Gericke, Walls. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Walls, second Gericke to send notice to all rental properties regarding the new inspection program. Ayes: Walls, Kern, Gericke and Bartels. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Bartels, second Walls to approve Engineer Hart to procure equipment and rental agreement for interim sewage pump to meet requirement of the Department of Natural Resources during the time when sewer plant is under construction. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, Gericke, and Walls. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Walls to authorize city engineer Mike Hart to negotiate easement across mobile home park area as most feasible means for hook up for Department of Natural Resources requirements. Ayes: Bartels, Kern, Walls, and Gericke. Absent: Ryan. Motion carried.
