Motion Gericke, second Ryan to approve a RESOLUTION #2000-21 authorizing the city to begin procedure for requesting SRF loan for needed Water Improvements. Ayes: Gericke, Walls, Bartels, Dils and Ryan. Motion carried. Motion Bartels, second Gericke to approve a RESOLUTION #2000-22, to provide notice of Public Hearing at the next regular meeting for extension of the City (TIF) Tax Increment Financing for an additional 10 year period to provide for water and sewer project payments. Ayes: Gericke, Dils, Bartels, Ryan and Walls. Motion carried. Bartels explained that fence and tree work will be needed on the west boundary of the TIF creek parkway, probably in the spring. Mayor Potter made appointment of Alan Kern to the vacant seat on the Board of Adjustment. Question regarding grading and erosion control in Rolling Hills. City engineer will puruse this matter because of complaints. Clean Up notice to property at 116 Summerhays. The City Clerk announced that a grant submitted to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources has received funding for a $50,000.00 REAP grant to be used for acquisition of park area directly on the east side of the city along Jasper Avenue and Hwy#6. Mayor of Coralville has requested to meet with city officials. Council will try to set time early in next year. Mayor Faucett mentioned no items of concern. Motion Gericke second Dils to approve clerk and treasurer's reports. Ayes: Ryan, Gericke, Walls, Dils and Bartels. Motion carried. Motion Dils, second Ryan to approve bills and receipts.
