Motion Shaffer, second Bartels to increase cost of new meters at any residence from the current $75.00 to $150.00 to cover meter costs and personnel time and installation work. Ayes: Shafer, Gericke, Dils and Bartels. Nays: None. Absent: Walls. Bartels asked the cost of building permits. Most single-family homes carry a building fee of anywhere from $800-$1,200 including meter, and water and sewer hook-in fees.
