March 6, 1968 and the following councilmen voted "Nay": (None). After discussion, the Mayor announced that the council would hold its next meeting for consideration of the second reading of this ordinance on April 3 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the council chambers. Margie O'Toole, Clerk Minutes of Special Council Meeting, March 13, 1968, Tiffin, Iowa The special meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Bill Bream. Present: Ted Spivey, Ned Allen, Bill Bream, Fred Moore. Absent: Glenn Potter, James O'Toole The motion was made by Fred and seconded by Ted to submit a sealed bid for purchase of the Shertz land and buildings for $3500.00 with the option that the town can raise this bid if so decided. All in favor. Ted moved and Ned seconded the motion to send in the Highway Commission Financial Report as presented by the Clerk.. Carried. Ned moved, Ted seconded the motion to adjourn. Carried.
