Street Extension: Ted made the motion to offer Ken Ingham the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for the land required for the street extension. Fred seconded the motion. Unanimously carried. Ditch Excavation: The Council discussed Mr. Carter's partial excavation of the ditch and it was noted that the job had not been done according to the design of the Geological Survey. Payment and continuation of the excavating was taken under consideration. Railroad Crossing Signals: It was suggested that a petition for signals at the railroad crossing should be circulated and submitted to the Board of Supervisors. The following format was suggested: "We, the undersigned residents and voters of Clear Creek Township and the Clear Creek Community School District, petition the Johnson County Board of Supervisors for the erection and maintenance of proper signals at the railroad crossing located on county road leading from Interstate 80 to the Town of Tiffin.
