Minutes-06/09/1969

Ted Spivey made the motion and Ned Allen seconded it to readvertise for bids on the Municipal Water System for the Town of Tiffin, Iowa. All in favor. The publication will appear in the Iowa City Press-Citizen and the Des Moines Register. It was decided to hold a Special Meeting Monday, June 16. The meeting will be to discuss the water further. After the Town receives the new bids then the Council can decide if it wants to go ahead with the project. Before the Town obligates itself to award the bids it will know if it has the additional grant from the FHA or not. Mr. Neuzil and Mr. Reed will go to Chicago this week to talk with representatives from Chapman and Cutler. Ned Allen made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ted Spivey seconded it. All in favor.
