Mr. Tometich said the remaining balance on the water contracts should be collected so as to have a fund for the initial operation and maintenance account and an initial reserve account. Dale Flansburg made the motion to transfer $1700 from the liquor profit account to the water account. Ned Allen seconded the motion. All in favor. In the next sewer bill the Clerk will send a note telling the Townspeople the water system has been approved and that the Council will be collecting the balance of the contracts soon. Discussion was held on getting a file cabinet for the Town to be used by the Clerk. Dale Flansburg made the motion to purchase a file cabinet for around $65. Ned Allen seconded the motion. All in favor. Discussion was held on the diseased elm trees. The Clerk will write Wayne Tuttle at West Branch to see if he could come to the next Council meeting to discuss the removal of these trees. Ned Allen made the motion to adjourn the meeting.
