3. Data Collection a. Topographic Survey: Collect location and elevation data of existing features at the well site and for the proposed route of the water main and electrical service from the water plant. b. Base Map i. Provide 5-foot index and 1-foot intermediate contours with labels. ii. Locate and label all existing site features and facilities. iii. Locate all corners of existing buildings. iv. Locate all trees and approximate tree diameter and drip lines. v. Locate the elevation at top and toe of all slopes and drainage areas. c. Utility Structure Survey: Investigate utility structures to obtain field-measured invert elevations, penetrating pipe information, and condition assessment. d. Research and locate site property lines and right of way. 4. Wellhouse Design MSA will provide drawings and specifications for construction permitting for Well #6. Improvements will include a gravel driveway, electrical service, and watermain from the water plant to the well. A chain link fence will be provided to provide security along the entrance driveway and the well site. A wood framed building with metal siding and roofing will be constructed to house the controls for the well. a. Civil i. Site utility modifications to support proposed well features, site grading and surface restoration, and driveway. ii. Drawings including General, Details, Existing and Proposed Site Plans, Existing and Proposed Yard Piping Plans, and Piping Plan & Profiles. iii. Specifications including EJCDC Project Manual and Technical Sections. b. Mechanical i. Design of process piping and equipment within the well and meter vault ii. Design Basis Calculations and Hydraulic Analysis for well pump and appurtenances. iii. Technical Specifications. c. HVAC i. HVAC Design Calculations and Analysis (for new building only) ii. Drawings. iii. Specifications. d. Architectural i. Architectural design of well house building. 1. Assumed building materials are wood framed walls and trusses with metal siding and roofing. ii. Drawings for the new envelope, details of construction, and building finishes. iii. Technical Specifications for roofing, building construction, and finishes. (Owner to make final determination on finishes.) e. Structural i. Structural design of well house building. 1.
