K-4 - Professional Services Agreement - Highway 6 Reconstruction - MSA

Assumptions/Exclusions • Meeting assumed to be held at Tiffin City Hall or at a location deemed necessary by laDOT. • One public informational meeting is assumed. • Owner and laDOT will provide list of invitees to meeting. • Owner will provide location of public informational meeting. PHASE 800: FINAL DESIGN & LETTING MSA will develop final plans, specifications, and estimates for the project preferred alternative for the following review milestones by the laDOT. DM5 - Design Methods Turn-in (100%): • Prepare final plans, specifications, estimate for submittal to laDOT for review and comment. D08 – Final Grade & Pave Plans (100%) • Prepare final plans based on comments received from laDOT at DM5 event, Owner feedback and submit to laDOT for letting. LO3 – Letting – Combination Grade and Pave • Bidding will be performed by the laDOT. • MSA will provide required documentation to laDOT to perform bid & letting services. • Issue Addenda as appropriate to clarify, correct, or change the bidding documents. PHASE 900: MEETINGS • Hold monthly virtual check-in meetings with laDOT District 6 staff to discuss project progress. MSA will coordinate, schedule, and provide meetings minutes for each meeting. • Concept Plan (30%) review: Attend one meeting with staff during concept plan development and before the concept statement is submitted to the laDOT. • Preliminary Plan (60%) review: Attend one meeting with staff after preliminary plans are complete, prior to starting check plans. • Final Plan (100%) review: Attend one meeting with staff after check plans are complete, prior to starting final plans. Assumptions/Exclusions • Monthly check-in calls with laDOT will be virtual video conference calls via Microsoft Teams. 24 meetings are assumed over the three year design schedule. • Design level meetings are assumed to be in person with Owner.
