Glenn Potter moved to adopt a resolution electing to act under and be subject to certain divisions and parts of divisions of the city code of Iowa known as the Home Rule Act, Chapter 1088 of the acts of the 64th Iowa General Assembly (1972). To utilize those provisions deemed beneficial to the town and its citizens. Roger Janssen seconded the motion
