RESOLUTION NO. 2021-036 A RESOLUTION SETTING THE OF DATE JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA Whereas, The City recognizes a request from Carol and Linda Vikel, to annex a certain property into the city limits of Tiffin, Iowa, and Whereas, the location map, known as the ‘Vikel south 50 feet’ property, is attached to this resolution; and, Whereas, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended approval of the annexation on a 3-0 vote at its May 12, 2021 meeting. Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the date of public hearing for June 15, 2021, to discuss the annexation of the ‘Vikel south 50 feet’ property located on Highway 6. On the 18th day of May, 2021, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Havens introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2021-036, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler. Ayes: Bartels, Schnedler, Havens, Olney Nays: None Absent: Limkemann Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2021-036, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 15, 2021, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
