RESOLUTION NO. 2019-022 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE STP-A-006-7(90)--22-52 PROJECT – TIFFIN ROUNDABOUT PROJECT Whereas, the Iowa Department of Transportation has received and opened bids on February 19, 2019, for the Tiffin Roundabout Project; and, Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin has received the bidding information; and, Whereas, Rathje Construction Company has been identified as having the lowest, most responsible bid; and, Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual process, Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract as required and necessary to execute a contract with Rathje Construction Company as identified and recommended by the City Engineer. On the 5th day of March, 2019, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2019-022, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE STP-A-006-7(90)--22-52 PROJECT – TIFFIN ROUNDABOUT PROJECT and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Havens. Ayes: Ryan, Schnedler, Bartels, Upton, Havens Nays: None Absent: None Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2019-022, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE STP-A-006-7(90)--22-52 PROJECT – TIFFIN ROUNDABOUT PROJECT to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
