AGENDA ITEM # K-4 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: February 26, 2026 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration of Pay Application #6 – Tricon Construction Group – Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project ACTION: Approval Background The City of Tiffin is currently constructing significant upgrades to its Water Treatment Plant under a contract with Tricon Construction Group. The project is being administered by MSA Professional Services. Pay Application No. 6 represents progress payment for construction work completed between January 24, 2026 and February 20, 2026. MSA has reviewed and recommended approval of this pay application, and the Contractor has certified its accuracy. Work remains ongoing and continues to progress across structural concrete, mechanical improvements, electrical installation, and site work elements as detailed in the lump sum progress schedule. Progress achieved this period reflects ongoing construction across the RO Building foundations, electrical mobilization and site materials, and several structural components. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Pay Application No. 6 from Tricon Construction Group in the amount of $557,440.64. ATTACHMENTS: Pay Application 1
