Sheet C161 31. Streetlighting design shows light pole on top of water main. We recommend light pole locations be revised or water main adjusted. Light poles have been shifted to avoid pipes as needed. 32. Consider adding valves on internal water main. Valves have been added. 33. Verify if connection to existing 8” main on east side is tapping sleeve and valve. If not, add valving. Connection will be tapping sleeve and valve and has been labeled as such. 34. Verify that 90 degree fitting is proposed at the connection to existing water main near Forevergreen Road. Connection is proposed to be 2-45 degree fittings. 35. Identify all crossings where the sanitary sewer crosses over or is less than 18 inches below a water main and the vertical separation between outside diameters of those pipes. Note that the sanitary sewer pipe in these locations shall be constructed of water main material and the water main shall be enclosed in a watertight casing pipe with an evenly spaced annular gap and watertight end seals. Crossing invert information has been added to the plans. Notes regarding crossing conditions per DNR requirements are provided on Sheet C500. A note has been added to the sanitary sewer plan referencing Sheet C500. Sheet C162 36. Streelighting design shows light poles on top of the sanitary sewer. Numerous pipe lengths and slopes do not reflect the design in the submitted plans. Update and resubmit. Revised report has been provided. Of note, the roof drains pipe runs were calculated to prove capacity on the flattest portion of slope. Because time of concentrations are all relatively low, the calculations neglect any increases in time of concentration by maintaining a constant intensity. Therefore, pipe lengths (particularly roof drainpipe lengths) are negligible in this analysis. 38. Verify horizontal clearance and constructability between the outside of storm sewer pipe between structure D-5 and D-4 and outside of sanitary sewer structure MH 3. Separation between outside edge of pipe and structure is greater than 1.75’. 39. Slopes for roof drains connecting to building 11 or 0.00%. Update all roof drains for positive drainage to the stormwater conveyance system. Inverts and slopes have been corrected. 40. Show outlet pipe for F-B-7 and inlet pipe for F-B-5. Pipe has been shown.
