CITY' OF TIEPIN IOWA b r RESOLUTION: 2011- 31 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CLOSING OF W. THIRD ST BETWEEN MAIN ST AND GRANT ST ON AUGUST 13, 2011 FOR SLIM' S STREET DANCE WHEREAS: a request has been made by Slim' s Saloon to close W. Third St. between Main St. and Grant St. on the evening of Saturday, August 13, 2011 for a Street Dance from 8: 00pm to Midnight and to allow the consumption of alcohol beverages on the closed street. WHEREAS: Slim' s Saloon so' states that they will provide Security Services during the Street Dance "open to the Public and police the consumption of alcohol beverages, as per the requirements of the special alcohol permit. i WHEREAS: Slim' s will contact City, ofTiffin Public Works for street closures and " No,; Parking" signs. Slim' s will be responsible for,cleaning up litter from streets and private property as. needed following street dance. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: THE City Council approves the request to allow closure of, W.
