Sidewalk / Trail Tiffin City Park Trail Phase Four project. r 27th WHEREAS: on the day of June 2011 the Iowa Department of Transportation has determined that°Metro Pavers, Inc. of Iowa- City to be the lowest responsible bidder. 3 e , i} THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the said plans, specifications and form of contract and award of contract are hereby approved for this above- mentioned project: The award of contract will be extended to Metro Pavers, Inc. for approval for the amount of $ 146, 275. 44. r THEREFORE, BE IT rRESOLVED, the City Council has budgeted for the project in the fiscal year 2011- 2012 and TIF Funds will be used to fund the project. It is understood that the -Iowa Department of Transportation will reimburse the City of Tiffin for approximately 80% of cost of Y project. Original award estimated- at $ 161, 844. y THEREFORE, BE' IT RESOLVED, BY the City Council 'of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the Mayor and ti City Clerk to sign" ail necessary notices, documents, and forms of contract, as required and necessary to executes contract which was identified- and recommended• by the City Engineer.
