This includes the price from J&L Construction for the construction of the structure and a breakdown of labor cost from Boomerang for the excavation and backfill of the structure. Boomerang has also provided a breakdown of the labor costs for the excavation and backfill of the original, as-bid structure. When compared with the original cost for the excavation and backfill, the proposed cost is considered reasonable. Unit price includes Prime Contractor markup of 10% per 1109.03,3. 8180: Agreed unit price. Unit Price ($65.00/LF) is significantly below the average unit bid price of the same item ($168.32/LF) when compared with the Summary of Awarded Contract Unit Prices for the item from February 2025 to January 2026. It is acknowledged that the price in the Summary may reflect low quantities, and so we could consider the bid prices of 8 IN. and 12 IN. in the Summary and as part of the original bid package for this specific project. The Agreed unit price ($65.00/LF) falls in between the 8 IN. and the 12 IN. in both cases. Unit price includes Prime Contractor markup of 10% per 1109.03,3.
