Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, November 1, 1972, Town of Tiffin Mayor Stratton presiding; Present: Potter and Spivey Absent: Bream, Davis and Kobold. Quorum not present. Mayor called Special Meeting for November 2, 1972. Meeting adjourned. Judy Smith, Town Clerk Minutes of Special Council Meeting, November 2, 1972, Town of Tiffin: Mayor Stratton presiding; Present: Potter, Spivey and Kobold. Absent: Bream and Davis Also present Roger Janssen Minutes of Regular Council meeting, October 4, 1972, read and approved. Ted Spivey made a motion to accept resignations from Councilmen Bill Bream and Don Davis. Kandy Kobold seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Mayor declared 2 vacancies on Council. Glenn Potter made a motion to appoint Roger Janssen to Council. Kandy Kobold seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Roger Janssen sworn in as Councilmen by Clerk. Glenn Potter made a motion to sign contract with Hawkeye Engineering Co. for purposes of updating Towns' Sewer System, after Att. Neuzil has read contract and advises Council. Kandy Kobold seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Kandy Kobold to make arrangements for Santa to be at the Tiffin Fire Station December 17, 1972. Clerk to write to Louis Voparil about paying Sewer and Water Tap-on fees on his property on Main St. He is to pay immediately or Council must consider discontinuing services. Kandy Kobold made a motion to pass a resolution to certify delinquent sewer rentals to the Johnson County Auditor, to be put on the tax roll. Glenn Potter seconded. All in favor by roll call vote.
