Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, January 3, 1973, Town of Tiffin. Mayor Stratton presiding: Present: Spivey, Janssen, Birtcher, Potter. Absent: Kobold Att. Neuzil present. Clerk reports that Beverly Birtcher was sworn into office December 30, 1973. Minutes of Regular Council Meeting, December 6, 1972, read and approved. Glenn Potter made a motion to pass a resolution to transfer $667.89 from Debt Service to Trust and Agency Fund and directing that the books be corrected accordingly. Roger Janssen seconded. All in favor by roll call vote. Mr. Wm. Dunton present to discuss all the Towns' Insurance Policies with his company/ He is to check on the possible error in the amount of the salaries of the Town's Employees on the policies. (Liability and Workmen Comp.) Correspondence read. Beverly Birtcher to contact Ted Colony about removing the tree on Eva Files property. Discussion on the condition of the Railroad crossing and the increased vibrations when trains are passing through Town. Clerk to write to the Railroad Co. again. Glenn Potter made a motion to pay the following bills. Roger Janssen seconded.
