TOWN OF TIFFIN TIFFIN, IOWA 52340 Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, December 5, 1973, City of Tiffin, Tiffin, Iowa. Mayor Stratton presiding. Present: Beverly Birtcher, Kandy Kobold, and Glenn Potter. Absent: Roger Janssen and Ted Spivey. Ralph Neuzil present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Glenn Potter moved to purchase a table and twelve chairs for the Council Chambers. Bev Birtcher seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved to approve the Road Use budget for 1974 proposed road work in the amount of $12,353.27. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Kandy Kobold moved that a cigarette permit be issued to Mary Ann Spurrier for the Corral subject to the clarification of an individual ownership or partnership. Bev Birtcher seconded the motion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Glenn Potter moved to grant a refund to Robert Sadler for a cigarette permit which has been surrendered. Kandy Kobold seconded the motion. Motion carried. Beverly Birtcher moved to pay the following bills: Kandy seconded.
