The Clerk explained that during the transition period which started with fiscal year, July 1, 1975, the bookkeeping procedure is such that to show a complete appraisal of receipts and expenditures, it is necessary to report all area headings, at this time. The Financial committee will meet with the Clerk-Treasurer, Sept. 20th and determine the action to be taken by the Council to combine the General fund headings for more concise bookkeeping procedure and budget analysis.
