Clerk's Notes from January 10, 1979 Ray Scheetz was present at the Public forum to see what council had decided about the proposed expansion of the Clear Creek Mobile Home Park. The Mayor read a letter from Mr. Sladek citing several questions he has regarding the plans. (1) the plans did not contain lot specifications. A single family mobile home requires 3000', a double trailers require 5000'. Mr. Sladek said there were also front, side and back requirements as well as parking requirements. Mr. Sladek also suggested that we have a study done to determine if the present sewer system will handle the added trailers. Linda Walters, Tiffin's new Animal Control Officer was present and informed council of the requirements for a holding pen, should Tiffin erect such a structure. Linda was instructed to make arrangements with Iowa City's animal pound for holding Tiffin's animals until other arrangements can be made. The Clerk-Treasurer was instructed to have the city attorney type up Ordinance #1979-80.
