Minutes-2 /14/1979

Tiffin City Council met in Regular Session on February 14, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. Council members present: Morgan, Madden, Potter, Sheridan and Stratton. Mayor Formanek presiding opened the meeting to public forum at 7:35 p.m. Frank Schneider was present and requested a Special Meeting for Wednesday February 21, 1979 at 7:00 p.m. Clerk was directed to make the following correction in the January 10, 1979 meeting minutes: Motion to waive the first two readings of Ordinance 1979-80 was made by Morgan, seconded by Potter and carried with the following votes: Ayes: Morgan, Potter and Stratton. Nays: Sheridan. Motion to approve the Jan. 10th minutes as corrected, the Jan. 29th, Feb. 1st, and February 12th meeting minutes was made by Stratton, seconded by Madden. Motion carried unanimously. Motion to approve the Clerk-Treas. Reports was made by Sheridan, seconded by Potter and carried unanimously. Motion to enter into an agreement with Shive-Hattery to prepare a water and sewer system report was made by Sheridan, seconded by Stratton and carried unanimously. Motion to move bank accounts from Unibank & Trust in Coralville to First National Bank in Coralville was made by Potter, seconded by Stratton and carried unanimously. Beth H. Steinke Beth H.
