Motion Spivey, second Rohret to authorize clerk to invest $6,000.00 in certificate of deposit from water fund. Carried unanimously.
Motion Potter second Williams to pay Dennis Brown $5.00 per hour for 39.5 hours labor while Ralph Brown was on vacation. Carried unanimously.
Motion Spivey to defer payment of $21.50 to John Sladek until Council receives more specific information about what it is for. Spivey withdrew motion. Council instructed clerk to ask John Sladek about charges in relation to case with Chicago, Rock Island railroad.
Motion Rohret second Spivey to approve bills and accept receipts. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion Spivey second Rohret to adjourn meeting at 10:40 p.m. Carried unanimously.
