Spivey stated that the only question was the type of foundation and having a guideline to follow in the future. Attorney: Law states that it should not have a permanent hitch, wheels or axles. City should get some verification that it is a manufactured home as defined in the U.S. Code. Birtcher: Company will supply verification of that. Act on August 8 as I would rather have the full council present. Motion Spivey second Kobold to defer Beverly Birtcher's request for building permit for 312 Grant Street to August 8, 1984. Carried unanimously. Motion Cox second Kobold to defer Beverly Birtcher's request for permit to move building to August 8, 1984. Carried unanimously. Williams was not present with request for building permit. Resolution No. 1984-6 approving First National Bank of Iowa City as depository in amount of $140,000.00 was introduced by Cox and seconded by Spivey. Clerk read resolution. Roll call vote: Cox, aye; Kobold, aye; Spivey, aye; Stevens and Morgan absent. Mayor declared Resolution No. 1984-6 duly passed and adopted. Clerk read Agreement to Receive and Repay Deposits of Public Funds with First National Bank of Iowa City and explained that bank has to insure city's funds by 110% of any amount over $100,000.00 and that bank is currently drawing up agreements to finalize procedure. Motion Cox second Spivey to authorize Mayor to sign Agreement to Receive and Repay Deposits of Public Funds with First National Bank of Iowa City. Carried unanimously. DeWitt expressed concern with lack of communication on street repair project. Potter stated that council would meet before August 8 and decide what street work needs to be done.
