7. Correspondence between the Mayor and District Urban Engineer of the State Highway Department was read and discussed. Said correspondence is concerned with an attempt to clarify division of responsibility between the Town and the State Highway Department concerning drainage problems existing along Highway 6 within town limits. 8. Problem of speeding on Highway 6 was discussed, and the following steps were taken: a. Immediate correspondence was sent to the National Recorders Co. in Grinnell for restandardization of speed analyzer in preparation for its use in the near future. b. A letter was directed to the American Automobile Association in Des Moines notifying them of the Town's intention to place the speed analyzer in use. Mr. Svatos made a motion that the meeting adjourn; Mr. Ritter seconded it, and the motion was carried.
