Sidewalk work north of US Highway #6 near the Amoco was considered in discussion. Water Main improvement from 2" to 6" and culvert work along Second Avenue, bridging work on Second Street and Grace road work were all also discussed for future projects. Councilmember Ryan expressed concern that sidewalk work along Highway #6 take top priority for the safety of school children along this route. It was approved that Mike Hart will confer with Rodney Walls and Mike Ryan for question in this concern. No Park committee members appointed at this time. Councilmember Rodney Walls will provide nominations for this board. Jim Bartels spoke to the problem of traffic congestion at the new Post Office. Signing will be studied herer.. Motion Ryan, second Walls to approve the clerk and treasurer's reports. Ayes: Kern, Bartels, Ryan, and Walls. Absent: Gericke. Motion carried. Motion kern, second Bartels to pay bills and accept receipts. Ayes: Ryan, Bartels, Walls, and Kern. Absent: Gericke. Motion carried. Motion Kern, second Ryan to adjourn.
