Three members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2001-243, SETBACKS ON HWY was read the third and final time and placed on the record. Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Walls, and seconded by Councilperson Bartels that Ordinance No. 2001-246, SETBACK ON HWY be place upon its final passage and be adopted. Ayes: Walls, Dils and Bartels. Nays: None. Absent: Ryan and Gericke. Motion carried. Three member of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared the motion carried, and the ordinance NO. 2001-243, SETBACKS ON HWY was passed and adopted. Whereupon the mayor declared the Ordinance No. 2001-243, SETBACKS be adopted and signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto. Passed by the council on the 13th day of June, 2001 and approved by the mayor on the 13th day of June, 2001. On the 9th day of May a first reading and second reading was given to ORDINANCE NO. 2001-246. On the 9th May at a regular meeting at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council Tiffin, Iowa, Ordinance NO. 2001-246, REZONING NOTIFICATION WITHIN 200 FEETthat provides for notification of neighbors within 200 feet of rezoning requests and providing for first reading and second reading and placed on record. Same recommended for approval by Tiffin Planning and Zoning Commission. On the 13th day of June at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council it was moved by Walls, second Bartels that the law providing for three readings and reading on three separate dates be dispensed with and waived and that the ORDINANCE NO. 2001-246 PROVIDING FOR REZONING NOTIFICATION WITHIN 200 FEET be read for the second and third time and placed upon the record. Whereupon Mayor Glenn R. Potter read the Ordinance NO. 2001-246, REZONING NOTIFICATION WITHIN 200 FEET for the third time and was placed upon the record. Motion Walls, second Dils that the ORDINANCE NO. 2001-246, PROVIDING FOR REZONING NOTIFICATION be for read for the last time and that the ordinance be placed upon final passage. Ayes: Bartels, Walls, and Dils. Nays: None. Absent: Gericke and Ryan. Motion carried. Whereupon Mayor Potter read the Ordinance No. 2001-246, PROVIDING FOR REZONING NOTIFICATION for the last time and it was placed upon final passage and the roll was taken. Ayes: Walls, Dils and Bartels. Nays: None. Absent: Ryan and Gericke. Motion carried.
