AGENDA ITEM # K-6 AGENDA INFORMATION TIFFIN CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION DATE: October 27, 2016 AGENDA ITEM: Discussion and Consideration to Increase Annual Pet Registration Fee or Create an Additional Fee for Use of New Dog Park and Council Action as Needed ACTION: Motion SYNOPSIS: We are within a month of sending out pet registration renewals and wanted to know if the council wanted to change or add an additional fee for the use of the new Dog Park. This is common in other communities but is not something we have formally talked about yet. Currently, early dog tag renewals are $4.00 until January 1st. After that the fee increases to $10.00, which is the same as new pet registrations. If the council chose to increase the fee, we would use the revenue within the Park’s Department for maintenance of the facility.
