At that time most of those present left the meeting leaving Mr. Reed, his two assistants; Mr. Neuzil, Mr. Koch, Mr. Tometich, DeWaine Slade, the Council, and the Mayor.
Mr. Reed analyzed the low bids on each contract amounted to $95,335.76. This with the basic engineering costs, interest, design, bid letting, etc., come to approximately $122,000.
The question was brought up concerning the bond election which was voted on which specified a total project cost not to exceed $115,000. Mr. Neuzil, Mr. Reed, F.H.A. and maybe a bonding attorney will get together to interp the bond election to see if the grant money can be excluded from the cost to the town.
Ned Allen moved, Ted Spivey seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. All in favor.
