AGENDA ITEM # K-2 The proposed agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. is a lump-sum agreement in the amount of $84,000. The anticipated schedule is: Approximate Start Date: October 2026 Approximate Completion Date: February 2027 The agreement provides for final plans, specifications, and an opinion of probable construction cost. The agreement identifies a number of services that are outside the current scope and would require a separate agreement or amendment if needed. These include geotechnical services, additional survey work, bidding services, construction services, funding applications and administration, and additional meetings beyond those identified in the agreement. Development of Well #6 is an important component of planning for Tiffin's continued growth and future water-system capacity. Completing the design work will allow the City to better understand the total project cost and requirements for bringing the existing test well into production. The proposed agreement provides the engineering services necessary to advance the project through design, permitting, and preparation of construction documents. Construction and bidding services are not included in the current agreement and would be addressed separately. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of the Professional Services Agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for design services related to bringing Tiffin Well #6 into service.
