Tiffin Fire Department Stipend Program Department Officer Stipends (annually) Fire Chief $12,000 Assistant Chief $7,000 Medical Officer $5,000 Captain $3,500 Training Officer $3,000 (Instructor I certified) Training Officer $1,500 (Non-certified instructor) Lieutenant $1,500 Response Stipends Per Call* Recruit / Probation $5.00 Member / Off Probation + $2.00 Firefighter I + $5.00 Firefighter II + $3.00 Fire Officer I + $1.00 Driver Operator – Pumper + $2.00 Driver Operator – Aerial + $2.00 EMT + $5.00 Maximum Per Call $25.00 *Holiday pay will be 1.5 times the stipend call rate (match City recognized holidays per City Employee Handbook, current edition) Training/Meeting Stipends • $20 per approved department business meeting. • $20 per approved department officer’s meeting. • $20 per approved training (maximum (2) per month, minimum of 2 hours each). • $40 per training session for certified instructors providing a minimum of 2 hours of departmental training to a minimum of (6) students. • $15 per training session for non-certified instructors providing a minimum of 2 hours of departmental training to a minimum of (6) students.
