The deposit will be refunded after the rental if the space is left in acceptable condition. The City may retain all or part of the deposit for damage, excessive cleaning, missing equipment, unauthorized use, or additional rental time; the renter remains responsible for costs exceeding the deposit. Cancellations 14 or more days before the rental receive a full rental-fee refund less a $10 administrative fee; cancellations 7-13 days before receive a 50% refund; cancellations fewer than 7 days before receive no rental-fee refund. If the City cancels the rental, the renter may reschedule or receive a refund. APPLICANT AGREEMENT By signing, the undersigned confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and accepts responsibility for the rental group and all invited participants. The undersigned agrees to comply with the Tiffin Recreation Center Policies and Procedures, this Rental Agreement, posted rules, and staff direction; accepts responsibility for damage, loss, excessive cleanup, or additional use charges arising from the rental; and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Tiffin, its officials, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, demands, and expenses arising from third-party injury or property loss related to the rental or use of the facility, to the extent permitted by law. The undersigned acknowledges that recreational activities involve inherent risks and voluntarily assumes responsibility for participation by the renter and the renter's guests.
