Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Kasparek called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Eric Schnedler, Skylar Limkemann, Al Havens, Chris Olney, and Tim Orris. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Olney. Second by Limkemann. All ayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion and Review of Grant Writing Proposal from Revata Consulting Discussion: Revata Consulting present and discussed grant opportunities for Tiffin. Currently they are in the private sector assisting with USDA REAP grants. They have secured over 4 million dollars in grant funds. They however are new to municipalities. Revata talked through what their process looks like for the City. D. Discussion and Review of Proposed Operational Budget for the Tiffin Recreation Center Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt & Recreation Director Frank Haege reviewed the estimated revenue and expenses for the proposed recreation center. Council asked we show membership fees for daily, monthly and annually. They also wanted a full budget estimate for the Recreation department, including current expenses. E. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda or Reports F. Other Business G. Adjournment Motion to adjourn by Orris. Second by Limkemann.
