These cameras provide a comprehensive view of the meeting room, ensuring that all participants are visible and can be heard clearly, regardless of their physical location. Currently, we are using a non-City owned device or a staff laptop, either are not the most ideal method of operation. If the Council ever wanted to record these meetings and make them viewable for residents, this technology will allow this to happen. It would also foster transparent and inclusive communication, which is crucial for effective governance and decision-making.
