PROJECT UPDATE  A Review of MSA Projects in Your Community City of Tiffin, IA CLIENT LIAISON: Andrew Inhelder, PE Office: 319.364.4773 Cell: 515.802.0906 [email protected] DATE: May 1, 2025 ON-GOING PROJECTS REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT DESIGN – CLINT WIENEN The approval of the Agreement and issuance of the Notice to Proceed will be on the agenda for the May 6th Council Meeting. It is anticipated that a Preconstruction Meeting will be held in mid-late May. We anticipate that construction will start immediately after the preconstruction meeting is held. HIGHWAY 6 CONCEPT AND COST ESTIMATE – JAMES WATTERS Coordination with franchise utilities in the right-of-way is ongoing. MSA has received responses from most utility coordinators. Preliminary work plans from utilities are due June 16, 2025. The Public Involvement Meeting was held on April 22nd at City Hall. Resident comments and concerns have been compiled and reviewed. SYSTEMWIDE SANITARY SEWER MODEL – ERIC THOMPSON Flow meters have been installed at three locations within the sanitary system. Preparation of the GIS data required to build the model is also underway, with the focus on sewershed delineation and land use classification. PROJECT UPDATE Page 1 of 4
