4. Discussion and Consideration of Hiring Construction Inspector I Position for Building Department and Council Action as Needed. Motion to approve by Havens. Second by Schnedler. All ayes, motion carried. L. Reports to be Received/Filed 1. M. Reports from City Personnel 1. Mayor’s Report – Suggested Trick-or-Treat – Tuesday, October 31st, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. 2. City Council Reports – Discussion: City Council Person Schnedler attended the EMA meeting and reported they will be getting rid of the boat that is currently housed at the Fire Station and replaced with a banana boat. City Council Person Olney reported the Librarian at the Public Library will be retiring soon. Senior Coffee Hour will be the last Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM here at City Hall. 3. Director of Public Work’s Report – Discussion: Director of Public Works Brian Detert reported lights to be at dog park up by end of week of the 23rd of October. City Park Ball fields should be completed by end of week. 4. Building Official’s Report - Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay was contacted by the Middle School STEM teacher regarding a partnership and replacement of the dog park obstacles. 5. Recreation Director’s Report – Nothing to Report. 6. City Engineer’s Report – Included in Packet 7. City Attorney’s Report – Nothing to Report. 8. City Administrator’s Report – Included in Packet. N.
